workingdads.co.uk launches 2021 survey

workingdads.co.uk wants to know how you’ve coped over the last 18 months, from flexible working, employment rights and equality issues to financial and mental wellbeing.

survey feedback

workingdads.co.uk has launched its survey with a focus on how working families have coped over the last 18 months and what can be done to better support them.

The survey, which is sponsored by the Financial Services Compensation Scheme, includes a section on furlough, which covers everything from whether furlough has been topped up and whether parents have been turned down for furlough for childcare reasons to whether they have used the flexible furlough scheme and how being on furlough has made them feel about their job.

It also covers flexible and remote working, for example, how parents want to work in the future, whether flexible working has been withdrawn or changed and the impact that has had on their working lives and whether more flexible working will encourage them to stay with their employer or change employer.

The survey includes questions on childcare, financial wellbeing, mental health, how much Covid has impacted your career path, attitudes to self employment post-Covid and whether you feel you employer is committed to and has taken action on diversity and inclusion in the last 18 months.

We also want to know what kind of things you would like to read on the site.

The annual survey runs over the next couple of months and the results will be published at the start of 2022.

workingdads.co.uk will also be dissecting the results for trends and patterns that might be changing fatherhood moving forward.

The survey should take no more than five minutes to complete and the aim is to help encourage organisations across the UK to make changes to the way they manage workers and take into account the different priorities and challenges faced by dads in particular.

A workingdads.co.uk spokesperson said: “This is a great opportunity for fathers to have their say – and a chance for you to tell your employers and companies in general what we need from them in the future.”

All completed surveys will be entered into our free prize draw to win £100 worth of Amazon vouchers – parents need to simply ensure they complete their contact details at the end if they wish to enter.
