Our mission is Making Sustainability Happen.
SLR are global leaders in environmental and advisory solutions helping our clients tackle some of the world’s most complex sustainability challenges. Having formed in 1994, over the years we have grown as a consultancy with now over 3,000+ employees across six regions, including over 1,000 staff across Europe.
At SLR, we are a people-focused business and our One Team culture is at the heart of all that we do; helping us to provide a collaborative and supportive environment for professional development.
We welcome individuals from all backgrounds to join and thrive at SLR. To find and attract the best talent to our business we are currently partnered with the STEM Returners Programme and are registered as a Disability Confident Committed Employer.
We are committed to being an equal opportunities employer, and our expectations go beyond purely complying with legislation. Through our Regional DE&I Committees, Global Council, and Employee Networks, we foster an inclusive environment where all individuals, regardless of their background, can thrive.
We believe that, just as in the natural world, diversity brings strength and resilience to our organisation. We recognise that all people have unique experiences, perspectives, and viewpoints that are essential to our success. It fuels our innovation and connects us closer to our clients and the communities we serve.

What does hybrid working look like at SLR?
At SLR, we recognise one size doesn’t fit all, therefore our hybrid working approach is tailored to what you and your line manager agree is best. Typically, full time employees will be coming into an office 2 or 3 days per week.
What does flexible working look like?
We currently adopt a core hours approach of 10am – 4pm to ensure contact is available for clients. If you need to have flexibility within these hours, this is something you and your line manager can agree together.
What is the reality of consulting re travel to sites / clients?
It is the nature of a consultancy to have to be flexible around client requirements, therefore some of our roles may require regular travel to client sites for extended periods of time. This will be highlighted in the advert if the role entails it.
