We look at some of the coolest things you can ask for – or treat yourself to – this month.
This portable, cool-looking projector is an excellent addition to any room (or tent). It has a good battery life, AI-powered image correction which means you can position it off-centre and still watch a perfect picture and surprisingly good audio for such a petite device, courtesy of its custom Harman Kardon speakers. There’s a little bit of set-up involved, particularly if you’re part of the Apple ecosystem as this is Android, with updates to download and pairing to be done if you don’t want to use the various ports, but after that’s it’s pretty much plug-and-play. There’s a really excellent LED picture (we tried it with some Star Wars TV shows and it was glorious) and you get the chance to switch off motion smoothing if you want to listen to the professionals in terms of watching a movie the right way.

As someone who avoids yoga classes at the gym because they always make me feel like I’m rubbish, this virtual portal for courses in everything from Qigong for Beginners to Pasta-making was a really refreshing experience. I went straight for the de-stress yoga and found its homemade aesthetic really authentic and pleasant, like I was in Hannah’s (the instructor’s) house and she was talking directly to me. I haven’t quite plucked up the courage to give contemporary dance a whirl, but plan to suggest Wild Art Journaling to my wife.

It’s been a while since I’ve had a pair of Gazelles and reintroducing myself to them recently reminded me of how lovely they are to wear. As someone with spectacularly flat feet, they have a little bit of structure that makes them particularly comfortable and they go with anything. I chose grey and they just…work.

As someone who frequently gets annoyed about the combo of wallet in one pocket and phone in the other, these clckr accessories were a real treat. On the right you can see the wallet and stand, which has space for three cards and a sturdy set-up for placing your phone on a table. On the left is the universal grip and stand, which comes in blue or black and makes it either easier to take a selfie, or more comfortable to watch Netflix when you’re on the train. Simple, straightforward, useful and cheap.
