Some of the things we like at the moment – whether they make your life easier, look really great in your work bag, or are fantastic presents.

Steambox

Steambox is an electric lunchbox. Yes, seriously.

A Dutch invention that was initially crowdfunded, it can heat up to three meals on one charge, controlled by an app.

You put the meal inside and when you’re ready to eat, you add a specified amount of water to the heating element and set the timer. The meal normally takes about 15 minutes to get eatably hot. Not bad, right?

Looks good too.

Vistaprint

Coming up with non-plastic crud for your kids can be difficult, as is finding something simple and fun for yourself or a partner.

But stationery is something everyone loves (no?) and Vistaprint have made it easy to make it feel unique and special. I got this for my wife and it’s got a funny picture of her when she was a child inside (no, you don’t get to see it). For the children, I got some personalised stickers. It’s all well-made and easy to organise. And at a good price.

Mnched travel cutlery

With single-use plastic set to be banned, Mnched have come up with a set of stainless steel cutlery which you can take to work and use on the go. Saving the planet and avoiding sticky fingers – it’s a win-win…

It comes in a small box, which means your bag won’t get covered in pesto or whatever and the set contains a collapsible straw as well.

They’re also dishwasher-safe.

UGREEN Docking Station

Now that we’re looking to make our home office spaces as useful and easy as possible, I’ve been looking at lots of things to help with that.

This 9-in-1 docking station does, using DisplayLink technology to connect to two 4K@60Hz monitors smoothly.

There are nine ports and the station supports up to 10Gbps data transfer speed and the 100W PD 3.0 charging port means that it takes just 1.5 hours to fully charge a MacBook Pro 15” laptop without needing to take up another port of the laptop.

It’s cool too. Literally – it uses an upgraded cooling system featuring dual vents, cooling silica gel, a cooling aluminium shell and heightening pads.
