With 24 million customers across six countries, Sky is Europe’s leading media and entertainment company and is proud to be part of the Comcast group. Our 32,000 employees help connect our customers to the very best entertainment, sports, news, arts and to our own local, original content.

Our technology allows Sky customers to watch what they want, when they want, how they want and connects millions of people to content they love. And our online streaming service, NOW TV, brings viewers all the enjoyment of Sky with the flexibility of a contract-free service.

Why Work For Us

We’ve been transforming the media and entertainment industry for 30 years. We reach 120 million people across Europe. We have 31,000 brilliant colleagues at Sky and we work with 11,000 suppliers across the world.

We believe the way we do business has a big impact on everyone. So we’re always looking for new ways to do the right thing for our customers, our people, our partners and the world.

If you like variety, challenge and an above-average pace, you’ll love life here. You’ll work with people from all types of background, all focused on making life better for customers, and having a blast along the way.

Who doesn’t love a perk? Well, at Sky you get plenty. Free Sky Q. Generous pension. Private health care. Access to over 12,000 LinkedIn Learning courses to support development.

Whether you want to buys shares in the wider company through the Share Save Scheme or take advantage of our Bike to Work Scheme, we’re committed to providing great rewards to the people who drive our success.

Throughout the COVID-19 crisis, the safety and wellbeing of our people has been our top priority. Whether working from home or hybrid working – where we work both on site and from home – we’ve embraced flexibility through these difficult times to help keep our people’s work/life commitments in balance.

Diversity & Inclusion

We celebrate diversity. Because different people, with different perspectives make Sky a better business. Our customers are incredibly diverse, so we should be, too. That’s why we’re working hard to build an inclusive culture, where you can be yourself. Whoever you are. Wherever you’re from.

We also believe that a company of our scale has a responsibility that goes beyond our business, and into the community. We recently announced a series of commitments to help tackle racial injustice and improve diversity and inclusion.

To ensure the commitments are delivered, Sky will invest £10 million per year across its markets for each of the next three years. We’re committed to being Europe’s first net zero carbon entertainment company by 2030 – two decades before we have to – and we’re an inclusive employer recognised by The Times and Stonewall for our commitment to diversity (gender & sexuality respectively).

Customer Service

Whether they’re the chirpy engineers shinning up a ladder to install a satellite dish; The sympathetic call centre operators who answer queries over the phone; Or the attentive retailers who have all the information needed to know about the latest Sky product…

These guys are the life and soul of the company with a real affinity for people and leave no stone unturned in their quest to get the job done.

Throughout the COVID-19 crisis, the safety and wellbeing of our people has been our top priority. Whether you’re working on-site or engaging with customers directly, we’ve ensured that all appropriate safety measures are in place to protect our staff.

Sky is in the business of media and entertainment but at its heart, we are increasingly a technology company.

Whether it’s delivering iconic shows to the homes of our customers, improving the speed of our broadband service, building engaging apps for all our services, protecting the company from cyber threats or arming our employees with everything they need to do great work, our Technology teams are at the centre of making Sky a success.

It is our challenge to deliver exceptional design, engineering and development and it is my privilege to lead such a talented, dedicated and skilful team from such diverse backgrounds that never fails to deliver. We have the best talent and people in the industry who have a wealth of skills and experience that keep us ahead of the game.

Content and Production

Set to open in 2022, the project represents a significant investment in the UK and European cultural economy. It is also expected that Sky Studios Elstree will become the most sustainable film & TV production site in the world.

The development represents a significant investment in the UK and European creative economy and will be made with the backing of Sky’s owner Comcast and in partnership with sister-company NBCUniversal.

Sky Studios Elstree will lead to the creation of over 2,000 jobs in the local area, including 900 during the construction phase and 1,500 once the studio is operational.
