Job Details

At Lloyds Banking Group, we're driven by a clear purpose - to help Britain prosper. Across the Group, our colleagues are focused on making a difference to customers, businesses and communities.

Could you help us make this possible?

Who are we and what we do?

No day in Conduct, Compliance and Operational Risk is the same. We engage right across the Group, advising on ways to improve how we keep the bank safe, delight our customers and Help Britain Prosper. We work closely as a collaborative team looking at different areas of the Bank and analysing data to help our teams and businesses improve.

We value being a diverse group of people, from many different backgrounds, and celebrate our differences. We also share a common vision to offer new insight, support, and challenge to senior management.

It's no surprise then that we are looking for people who are up for challenge, have drive for improving the business and themselves, love learning and are flexible. We will value your experience, whether it is already in a risk and compliance role, a technology change role or both! In return, we will provide excellent development opportunities, where you will be empowered to try new ways of working in a diverse growing team, providing valuable insight across the Bank.

Does this sound like your kind of place?

Ideally, we'd want you to be someone who:

  • Successfully leads delivery in complex environments, collaborating with other teams across the Risk Division. Empowering team members to deliver their best through coaching and developing their capabilities!
  • Uses operational risk data to evaluate the Group's management of Technology Risk. Regularly provide challenging risk insight to support decision making.
  • Knows what good risk management looks like and clearly opines on it in a technology context. Using great communication and influencing skills to effectively convey your opinions at all levels within the technology organisation.
  • Has a passion to develop your skills, accept new challenges and work flexibly. Deepening your understanding of technology innovation as it emerges and evolves.
  • Has proven technology subject matter expertise, and practical experience of delivering or providing oversight of IT change delivery. Demonstrating your knowledge of how the business context of Technology Change is linked to the delivery of business strategy.
  • Actively develops a forward view on how the introduction of new technologies into the Bank can improve IT risk management. Ability to deliver risk insight into public cloud adoption in a hybrid cloud environment would be a differentiating factor.

So what can we offer you in return?

Whatever your aspiration, you can also expect excellent benefits, personal development and a career that's enriching and full of opportunity.

You'll also receive a package that includes:

  • Flexible working
  • Discretionary bonus
  • Cash sum of 4% which you can exchange for a variety of benefits or simply take the cash
  • Private Medical Insurance
  • Pension, where we'll give up to a max of 15%
  • Share plans
  • 30 days holiday (plus Public)

We’re creating an organisation that attracts, retains and develops the best talent in the industry, and one that openly embraces diversity too. But more than that – we want to be a great place to work. We invest in our people, offering the best training and coaching, and by encouraging them to contribute to our leading corporate and social responsibility practices.
