Job Details
As Planning Lead (PMO), you will be responsible for implementing you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining planning processes and leading on governance and adherence to these processes
What you'll do:
Oversee and implement robust planning processes and effective tooling across Sky Data, ensuring adequate controls and reporting; introduce governance and drive adherence across Sky Data
Monitor the Sky Data Opex & Capex budgets and spend; partner with Finance, establish governance for financial controls and implement standardised processes, templates and reporting
Create regular reporting and monitoring, tracking performance versus plan, providing insight, coordinating regular meetings to present updates and providing recommendations
Collaborate closely with contacts across Sky Data and with other teams across Sky e.g. Finance, forging strong relationships and maintaining regular communication with senior stakeholders and across levels
Line manage and provide coaching and development for any direct reports
Manage adhoc requests through the team and problem-solve any issues, working with impacted stakeholders to understand the issue and proactively identifying a solution
What you'll bring:
Previous experience of running similar Planning / PMO activity with a practical understanding of the elements needed to successfully implement processes
Excellent communication, influencing and relationship management skills, including with senior partners, and the ability to develop relationships across locations
Motivated and proactive self-starter with an ability to work under own initiative, detecting problems and taking the necessary actions without prompting
Excellent analytical, presentation and reporting skills with strong attention to detail and commercial acumen
Strong understanding and experience of data exploitation (especially Microsoft Excel) including resource and performance modelling; working knowledge of Clarity or similar (highly desirable)
Ability to manage ambiguity, change and complexity whilst balancing the often conflicting demands of planning efficiency and the need to protect operational performance
