What you'll do:

• Contribute to the definition and development of innovative solutions
• Actively collaborate with our counterpart ML/AI groups at Comcast and our internal data scientists
• Propose and execute proof of concepts
• Build and contribute to the development and productionisation of ML models for enhancing customers' experience
• Contribute to build data quality and engineering solutions
• Assess models quality and alignment to business requirement

What you'll bring:

• Experience in delivering agile projects, from conception to productionisation with Machine Learning / Computer Vision at core.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills to work alongside a diverse client base ranging from product owners to Machine Learning practitioners.
• Knowledge of modern ML and Computer Vision methodologies and tools, including OpenCV, PyTorch, TensorFlow and models like YOLO.
• Strong software engineering skills and proficiency in programming languages like Python.
• Knowledge of container systems such as Docker and software development practices; e.g., code review, CI/CD, and MLOps
• Knowledge of AWS services including Lambda, Kinesis and SageMaker is desirable but not essential

The Innovation and AI team's mission is to differentiate the Sky experience by making it more personal, more interactive and more engaging than ever before. One of the projects we have recently launched creates a new experience for sports fans - personalised game highlights. We have a system set up for football, cricket and golf and we want to extend it to support multiple sport types in the near future. Another example is related to performing content analysis on our movies and entertainment programs where we need to detect and record various semantic entities and events to drive workflow automation and content discovery.

Our Osterley campus is a 10-minute walk from Syon Lane train station. Or you can hop on one of our free shuttle buses that run to and from Osterley, Chiswick Park, Gunnersbury, Acton Town and Ealing Broadway tube stations. There's also plenty of parking, bike shelters and showers.
