Overview
 

Working within the Content Management group and reporting to the Senior Manager, Data & Workflow, this role will be responsible for creating or supporting the creation of analytical solutions, allowing teams both within the Content Management group as well as other internal groups to self-serve metrics and other relevant data supporting processes and workflows. The Business Analyst will manage the Data Entry Administrator who will assist with capturing, cleaning and manipulating data so that it can be used in projects and reporting. Other responsibilities include gathering data, system and reporting requirements from key stakeholders, identifying improvements to processes and translating them into solutions. The role will also require strong partnerships to be built with the Product and Engineering groups within the DTC department and with elements of the GT&O department. 


Responsibilities
 

  • Supporting the Senior Manager on critical project requirements.
  • Managing and supporting the Data Entry Administrator
  • Extraction of data from multiple databases using SQL 
  • Creation and maintenance of reports in visualisation tools such as PowerBI and Tableau, ensuring stakeholder understanding and satisfaction
  • Provide strategic input into improvements and opportunities related to the metric findings
  • Creating and delivering impactful analytics to Senior Management
  • Requirements gathering, translating into basic wireframes and flowcharts using LucidChart
  • Working alongside Project Managers and Engineering groups to ensure requirements are successfully executed and providing UAT where required


Qualifications
 

  • Proactive strategic thinker with problem-solving skills
  • Critical thinking and analytical skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to track issues to resolution
  • Strong presentation and communication skills, with ability to present in a clear and professional way
  • Intermediate level SQL coding
  • Experience with visualisation tools such as PowerBi & Tableau is preferred
  • Advanced experience using Microsoft & Google Suites, particularly Excel, Sheets and Slides
  • Team Oriented, self-starter: ability to work in a team as well as to work and lead efforts independently
  • Ability to explain complex data sets to non-technical staff in a simplified manner
  • Direct experience working with and across various cultures
  • Understanding of operational workflows and media compliance an advantage
  • Qualification in business analysis or equivalent an advantage
