Senior Communications Planning Manager

We’re looking for someone who can help deliver integrated and impactful communications and ultimately be the person to answer the question, ‘how can we make this happen?’

Position: Senior Communications Planning Manager

Location: Homebased, U.K nationwide

Hours: 35 hours per week

Salary: Salary circa £31,000 per annum (inner London weighting £3,299 per annum or outer London weighting £1,755 per annum may be applied in accordance to where you live)

Contract: This is a fixed term 12-month maternity cover from start date.

The Role

Working in the Planning team, the Senior Communications Planning Manager has responsibility for the annual communications planner and key in supporting teams to produce strategically-aligned communications briefs and plans. This role will be to maximise the impact of what they charity is saying to key audiences and make best use of channels and the Communications team’s resource. You’ll have experience of spotting internal and external opportunities to increase reach, and potential threats to mitigate in advance.

About You

You’ll have experience of planning and managing multi-channel communications with the audience at the heart of everything you do. You should have a good understanding of the role of PR, digital marketing, offline marketing and fundraising to help us achieve our strategic objectives.

Most crucially, you will proactively build relationships and work across teams and directorates so that you have a clear overview of all our scheduled external communications.
