We have an exciting opportunity for a Data Modeller to join our Reference Data Team. This unique role will encompass your technical skills as well as your business knowledge to enable successful end to end delivery of our reference data solutions.

As part of the team you'd be responsible maintaining and developing Sky's various product catalogues, collaborate with all areas of Sky to lead and shape change and deliver innovative solutions whilst working across a broad portfolio of projects.

What you'll do:

Collaborate with design and development teams to define solutions that flex or extend existing system capabilities with a focus on supporting rapid change and business configurability.Use your technical expertise to design, build and maintain reference data within our Customer Management Platform and Product Catalogue framework.Work with Analysis and Readiness team to shape Transcomms solutionsCollaborate with business and technology stakeholders to support and define requirements definitions.Work closely with Business and Technology Analysis teams on root cause analysis, particularly in relation to operational change.Work with test teams to ensure co-ordinated and thorough test process are implemented.

What you'll bring:

Ability to develop and maintain strong business relationships at all levelsProven analysis & requirements gathering experience working across a variety of different sized projectsA proven ability to influence design decisions in a fast-moving commercial environmentStrong communication & stakeholder management skills coupled with a strong technical awareness to be able to communicate to both technical and non-technical Stakeholders at all levels.A Good Understanding of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) using both Waterfall and Agile methodologiesWorking knowledge of Scriptura would be advantageous.A working knowledge of XML and Xpath and an understanding of SQL, PL/SQL and JSON would be advantageous.A strong Working knowledge of data structures, relational databases, logical and physical data modelsWorking Knowledge of Version Management softwareAdvanced Excel skills with Knowledge of VBA would be advantageousAbility to coach and mentor peers and indirect lines
