What You Will Achieve

Working with a dynamic team of Logistics and Supply Chain experts, you will play a critical role in the activities involved with the efficient movement of material from receiving or the warehouse to production or any other department. Your role would include planning, developing material requirements, scheduling, and managing material movement with purchasing, warehouse, and Production or R&D.

As an associate, your focus on the job will contribute in achieving project tasks and goals. Through your domain knowledge and commitment, you will create a collaborative team environment for your colleagues.

How You Will Achieve It

  • Contribute to the completion of projects and manage own time to meet agreed targets and develop plans for activities on own projects.
  • Manage demand planning activities among internal functional groups and share information with business partners.
  • Identify and improve forecast variances, ensuring an excellent service level and forecast accuracy.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of a warehouse master plan and assure necessary change controls are initiated and implemented.
  • Plan and schedule the day to day receipt, sampling and dispensing of materials, create and manage purchasing requisitions for the manufacture of drug Products and packaging operations.
  • Work with local functions to define an appropriate action plan to address the inspection/audit observations.
  • Follow and assure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) standards, Pfizer Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), policies along with all applicable worldwide regulations and guidelines.
  • Ensure accuracy in the demand forecast and supply plan through regular interaction with Manufacturing, Operations, Suppliers, Analytical, Quality, and other partner groups.
  • Coordinate annual department SOP updates and perform investigational activities (to include within quality system).
  • Work with Drug Product Manufacturing Leads, Clinical Supply Packaging, Global Material Coordinators, Drug Product Design, General Analytics, and other key customers to ensure the schedule remains optimized.
  • Manage deviation reporting and identifying relevant corrective actions.
  • Ensure raw material and component availability as per production plan through analysis of the plan in the system and execute purchase orders and manages delivery of raw material and components.
  • Onboard new colleagues and support their development.

 

Qualifications

Must-Have

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
  • Experience with inventory management concepts.
  • System Application and Products knowledge.
  • Experience and or knowledge of Current Good Manufacturing Practices environment to include clean areas.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Tools.
  • Knowledge of domestic and international logistic and government regulations.
  • Good Written and oral communication skills.

  • Knowledge of planning, inventory management, reporting and other supply chain logistics.
  • Demonstrated capability to work as a team member in a matrix environment.
  • Possesses a positive, continuous improvement mindset.
  • Good relationship management with customers and stakeholders.
