Events and Digital Fundraising Officer

We are currently seeking an Events and Digital Fundraising Officer to help the events and fundraising team to meet income targets. This will happen through improving engagement with the property industry.

Position: Events and Digital Fundraising Officer

Location: Central London (flexible and home working considered)

Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Salary: £24,000 - £30,000

Contract: Permanent

The Role

The Events and Digital Fundraising Officer will lead and project manage several physical and virtual fundraising events each year. You’ll be key to improving the way the charity fundraises digitally, whether through virtual events or through online donations. One way in which you’ll achieve success is by offering outstanding supporter care and a seamless user journey to donors and corporate fundraisers, engaging them in the organisation and youth homelessness to maximise their lifetime value.

You will work across various teams including the corporate partnerships and communications team providing operational and logistical support by building relationships with companies working closely with the Regional Boards and the Comms and Engagement team to ensure that the charity utilises its digital channels effectively as fundraising and engagement tools.

About You

As Events and Digital Fundraising Officer, you will be flexible in the way you work, and the way you think, with a positive and enthusiastic outlook. A strategic thinker and problem solver you will be proactive and self-motivated, as you’ll need to take responsibility for coming up with ideas and to keep yourself focused and on-track. In a small team, your ability to collaborate will be vital, but so will your willingness to be decisive. There’s always a lot on, so you’ll need to be organised, and to enjoy working through periods of pressure.

You will have knowledge and experience in:

 

  • Stewarding supporters to meet and surpass their fundraising targets
  • Using online fundraising platforms and digital tools to maximize income
  • Working with corporate partners, senior professionals and/or committee members on events
  • Running digital campaigns, whether this be in events, individual giving or campaigning
  • Active, challenge and special events
  • Working in a busy events or digital team and effectively managing a small portfolio of events or projects.
  • Understand how to maximise supporter engagement and fundraising via events and digital fundraising
  • Understanding of and interest in ending youth homelessness
