Regional Commercial Lead - Ireland & Scotland
As a member of the Commercial team reporting to the Head of Commercial, the Regional Commercial Lead leads and oversees the region with a multidisciplinary team of Key Account Managers and Account Specialists responsible for sales strategy, financial and operational results and overall success.
Inputs into, delivers the commercial strategy and plans for the overall portfolio, across relevant customer channels and in alignment with the Regional and Group Strategy.
Leads the sales execution of the marketing strategy and plans by leveraging the field sales force and other innovative tools and approaches. The main goal is to drive an optimal outcome by being effective and efficient while continually optimizing the execution.
Ensures the region meets or exceeds revenue, margin and business objectives, ultimately reaching our profit target which includes appropriate budgetary management and optimal use of resources.
Develop a professional network with key opinion leaders & influencers to understand current and future market trends/strategies and opportunities within the region to maximise business revenue. You will have customer relationship/ management responsibilities, including the identification of business development opportunities for our integrated solutions portfolio, achieving wins against strategic priorities for all parties. This work will involve close collaboration with market access and integrated solution teams. You are accountable for the quality and integrity of data inputted into the CRM and responsible for the use of SFDC as the master data management tool.
Works flexibly when required across business as part of a squad or agile project team to ensure opportunities are maximised whilst balancing prioritisation of goals. Utilise skills and experience to work as part of empowered, multi-skilled teams (where appropriate), to ensure squad-prioritised work is delivered in line with organisational principles. Skills, knowledge and experience:
You have significant proven experience in a sales leadership role within the healthcare industry
You have In-depth understanding of trends in the payer marketplace and overall local health economy
You have experience and understand solution selling, ideally selling business application software
You have strong financial understanding and experience in management of P and L
Market access experience or experience of leading a market access team
You can prioritize in an ambiguous environment in accordance to a clear understanding of the business, target markets and trends
You are self-motivated, goal-driven, deeply inquisitive to challenge the status quo and adaptable
You are an experienced leader who can lead and inspire your team, build an inclusive environment and work with different individual personalities
Strong business acumen with the ability to recognise trends and capitalise on opportunities
You have outstanding communication skills, listening and negotiation skills and proven commercial acumen
Full UK driving licence
