HR Advisor

We are looking for a HR Advisor to help promote an organisation that makes a real difference to the lives of vulnerable people, as an employer of choice within the local community.

They provide support to individuals with learning difficulties, mental health issues, autism and acquired brain injuries, in both residential and supported living settings. Position: HR Advisor

Location: Home based, covering the East Anglia Region - office locations in Norwich or North Norfolk

Salary: Circa £30k per annum, plus car allowance of £5k.

Duration: Full time, permanent (Part time hours will be considered)

About the role:

As HR Advisor you will support all services in the region with all elements of the employee journey from recruitment to termination and embed the company’s values and ethos in all employment related issues.

Your key responsibilities will include:

 

  • Ensuring a continuous pipeline of applications for Support Worker and ancillary vacancies.
  • Managing the internal vacancy process within the region
  • Ensuring timely assessment and interview process
  • Making offers of employment and undertaking necessary recruitment checks
  • Ensuring personnel files are managed confidentially
  • Supporting services with temporary cover
  • Supporting the Service Managers to complete timely probationary reviews and annual appraisals
  • Providing first line HR advice and guidance on HR related issues, policies and procedures
  • Supporting with employee relations issues including; absence management procedures, sickness reviews, investigations, disciplinaries, grievances, etc.
  • Regular liaison with the Practice Development and Quality team to help ensure training compliance.

 

About you:

To be successful in the role of HR Advisor you will have proven experience as a HR generalist within a busy, fast paced, regulated environment. You will also have an HR related qualification, ideally CIPD or equivalent.

There is a requirement to visit services in the region therefore a clean driving licence and access to a vehicle are essential.
