About the Team
As part of Service Delivery, the successful candidate will be responsible for the day to day support of our Knowledge Management process, focussing on the analysis of key data in order to identify and review technical activities associated with delivering and managing knowledge systems and tools, including knowledge repositories
We are a central IT team with a fundamental role in the fast-paced and ever-changing world of Next. There is huge scope for an individual with the right intuition and imagination to make a visible and valuable difference throughout Systems.
About the Role
- Works with business users to enhance use of tools.
- Delivers KM-related technology training and awareness activities online, in print, and face-to-face where needed
- Gathers, analyses and reports on metrics, search logs and service tickets to identify Knowledge Gaps
- Creates documentation including business requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, feature descriptions, user guides, process flows, wireframes and presentations
- Participates in development of knowledge tools and approaches; contributes to scoping & planning, designing, testing and delivery
- Work closely with the Service Delivery Projects teams to ensure the processes deliver powerful and valuable data, driving continual improvement across the IT department

Criteria
- Knowledge of ITSM processes/tooling or the ITIL framework Strong planning skills with the ability to effectively manage time and prioritise workloads Proven ability to positively influence and negotiate at all levels across the business community Progressive forward thinker who actively seeks improved or alternative ways of doing things Enthusiastic team player with the confidence to challenge when necessary and the willingness to recognise the skills and needs of others Ability to provide coaching and build collaborative relationships across the IT department Good awareness of Next as a business.
