  3. Do you want to work in an internal communications team that strives for success, leading 89 per cent of the organisation to say that they feel informed about what is happening? Yes? Great, we have just the job for you.

We are proud of the work that Nest does, and the role we play, and we are looking for someone exceptional to come and join us.

Your new role

The insight business partner is a critical role between Nest and our new outsourced customer experience partner.  We’re redesigning all our customer journeys and touchpoints (website, satisfaction surveys, measurement framework, call centre, data hub, etc), and we’re building a new customer strategy – we’re putting our customer at the heart of it all.  We’ve got a lot of data and analysis, and we need someone to take a strategic approach to telling the story of our customers and what they need, and make sure that story is front and centre of strategy and design.  As with any insight person, you’ll wear many ‘subject matter expert’ hats and you’ll jump in wearing the right hat when you see the need:  dot-joiner, strategist, researcher, organiser, data geek, influencer, segmenter, marketer, storyteller, and most of all, an empathiser with audiences.

This role will directly help Nest to navigate complex decisions about the future of the pension scheme, and put our audiences at the heart of our service.

What you’ll need to succeed

You will be proactively influence, lead and motivate all stakeholders to ensure customer insight and our data is the start point for all design and customer strategy as well as act as a critical friend to senior colleagues, offering expert, strategic advice; inspire and coach colleagues to reach their potential and empower them to embed good data practices in everything they do, playing a critical role in building Nest’s data literacy development. Nest is on its data journey.

This role sits at the heart of NEST, helping the organisation to navigate a complex, time-pressured and very visible service design programme. The role offers a unique opportunity to shape the future of an organisation facing unprecedented challenges and will be stimulating and rewarding for the right candidate.

What you’ll get in return

This is an FTC until June 2023 with a salary of £50,000- £60,000 plus Benefits.

We welcome full time applicants for this role as well as applicants who can work a minimum of 4 days a week on a compressed hours basis.

Everyone wants a good work life balance and you will be working with a truly flexible employer, fully embracing a working from home culture and flexible working hours.

You will have your birthday and Christmas Eve as an additional bonus to the already fantastic holiday allowance and of course…a generous pension contribution.

Company

NEST is a great UK success story.

Established in 2010, NEST is a critical pillar of the Government’s automatic enrolment programme, with a public service obligation (PSO) to accept any employer wishing to use the scheme to discharge their automatic enrolment duties.   From a standing start, we have delivered a high quality, low cost pension scheme open to all, which has not only delivered on its mission, but has also helped to drive up standards and best practice across the industry. Now with over 6 million members and well over half a million participating employers, NEST is playing a critical role in helping people save for their retirement - many of them low to moderate earners who may be saving for the first time, and moving jobs frequently.   NEST now occupies an important place in the pensions market and will deliver high quality pensions to mass market consumers for many years to come, leveraging its scale to deliver value through the combination of low costs, market leading investment solutions and modernised services all overseen by strong Trustee governance.
