We are looking for an experienced Copywriter to join our team at Next!

As a Copywriter you will support with the delivery of editorial content and marketing copy for Next plc and workclosely with multiple functions within the Next businesses including Creative, Marketing Content, Trading and Buying. In this role you will be aguardian of Next’s tone of voice and written word for both online and any print requirements and therefore you will ideally be a skilled writer who can range from punchy campaign straplines through to longer form articles and guides.

About the role:

You will deliver highly engaging editorial and marketing copy and content:

  • by contributing copy for key online pages and marketing comms including: Editorial articles, informative guides, campaign content, homepages, landing pages, headers, banners, content spots, display advertising, emails and social media
  • by writing highly engaging headlines/CTAs
  • by collaborating with a team of fellow editors by understanding user behaviour knowing how and when to best serve content for inspiration and validation
  • by reviewing and measuring content performance
  • by working closely with relevant teams to maintain a clear content schedule
  • by being adaptable to write content which touches on a wide range of product types
  • by delivering a consistent tone of voice across all copy and content
  • by ensuring copy is inspiring, helpful and factually correct
  • by working closely with the SEO team to ensure copy is optimized to improve external search ranking
  • by ensuring all deadlines are met as new content is ready to be pushed live

About you:

  • Used to a fast paced content creation and delivery environment
  • From an editorial background with experience in online publishing ideally with fashion or lifestyle brands
  • Experienced in the writing of product copy
  • Someone with excellent written skills and an eye for detail
  • Familiar with best practices in regards to SEO and content performance evaluation
  • Someone with a great taste level in relation to all things style
  • An obsessive researcher
  • An ideas person A confident and concise communicator
