Campaign Strategy Lead – Job Share (12 month fixed term)

Global Witness is looking for an experienced leader to job share with the Campaign Strategy Lead in our Forests Advocacy team.

We want to hold companies and governments to account for their disregard of environmental destruction and human rights abuses they cause. 

About the role Alongside your job share partner you will lead our advocacy work to protect the world’s climate-critical forests by pushing for significant legislative changes and by putting political pressure on those who contribute to environmental destruction.

About you  You excel at creating and leading successful global campaigns and bring your knowledge of deforestation and environmental risk, finance regulation and supply chains.

You will use your leadership and management expertise to lead a collaborative and international team and to make a positive contribution to the broader organisation to support Global Witness’ values and purpose.

This role is based in Bethnal Green, London and therefore, to be considered for this role, you must be able to provide proof of eligibility to work in the UK. There is the possibility of the role being based in our US, Washington, D.C. office. Due to COVID, we are working remotely, and everyone can do so until the end of 2021.
