Safeguarding is Everyone’s Business.

At L&Q, we are committed to placing safeguarding of adults at risk and children at the heart of what we do. We are looking for a safeguarding and vulnerable person’s lead to join the L&Q Regionals team.

This new and exciting post will involve working closely with L&Q housing staff to ensure that they comply with the requirements set out in the Care Act 2014 and associated L&Q policies.

The role will involve guiding housing staff through the safeguarding process and ensuring front line staff follow local authority and our internal cause for concern reporting procedures. The role will also involve providing advice to front line staff on assisting L&Q tenants with care and support needs to get access to local authority care packages.

The successful person will also work closely with colleagues from L&Q’s care and support arm L&Q Living and the Group safeguarding lead.

Could this be you?

If you have a proven track record of dealing with safeguarding concerns and experience of working in a care and support environment, we want to hear from you. We are particularly interested in hearing from people who have experience of working in the field of mental health.

It is also essential that you hold a current driving licence and have access to a car.

Closing date for applications:  11.00pm on the 29th June 2021
