Product Systems are looking for a DevOps Engineer with strong CI/CD Pipeline development to work alongside our great team of developers to deliver the new suite of Product Applications as well as building processes around our existing Legacy applications.

We require an individual who has exposure to Cloud and can utilise the experience with containerisation (Using Docker and Kubernetes) to ensure a smooth transition from On-Premise to a Cloud Driven infrastructure.

Having strong analytical and problem-solving skills will be advantageous especially as the person in this role will be driving forward the new technologies and approach in Product Systems.

What will the DevOps Engineer do?

  • Automate the creation, build of Production, UAT and Development environments Automate build and release pipelines Automate testing of applications/services and integrate with build process Create and maintain data refresh processes and scripts ensuring that sensitive data is kept secure and anonymised Use monitoring tools for Applications, Servers & Services diagnostics Assist Dev teams with performance and volume testing Setting up nuget/npm repositories Setting up web servers (IIS, Node.js) Identify departmental processes that where possible can be streamlined or automated Create and maintain documentation detailing environments Provide expert knowledge on Cloud environment setup, connectivity, server configuration and guide the Project teams in using the environments in the most efficient manner Work alongside both internal and external Auditing and Security teams in order to maintain security of all environments and data.

  • Microsoft .NET Framework, .NET Core, ASP.NET Core, C# PowerShell scripts Azure cloud infrastructure Azure DevOps (on-premises and cloud), CI/CD pipelines, automated builds/releases Docker containers, Kubernetes, microservices,SonarQube, Helm charts, infrastructure-as-code (Terraform) SQL Server database Windows & Linux servers
