Job Details

We are looking for someone who is a recent graduate who is keen to build their career in PR to join us at Next! This is a brilliant opportunity for someone motivated to learn, with great communication skills and a background and interest in public relations and fashion!

About the Role:-

National

  • Organise press samples for quarterly press launches held in London. Contact suppliers to arrange on-time delivery of samples so knowledge of the buying and manufacturing process is necessary React quickly and work closely with the Home and Kids product teams and the London press office to maximise all PR opportunities with the national press Borrow key samples from the buying teams, directory and mock shop when needed Monitor coverage from national magazines and newspapers Provide feedback on key coverage to the buying teams to help build strong and proactive relationships Liaise with the buying teams to find out product-related information

International

  • Organise press samples for quarterly press launches held in Australia, Middle East and Israel. This involves looking at both availability and seasonality of samples. Coordinate and organise the samples for a range of different international shoots for International content. Borrow key samples from relevant departments when needed Have regular contact with three international PR agencies, for example, ordering gifting selects for key influencers, supplying the agency with new imagery and any other relevant information Arrange for international sample distribution, including working with international couriers/customs.

PR Store Openings

  • Work closely with the events department on forthcoming store openings for the season ahead. Meet with the store/ area manager to discuss store budgets, then work closely with them to gain any information needed. Also work with the retail park/shopping centre marketing team if necessary Create awareness by writing and sending out press releases to regional press Creating content to post on our main social media channels including Facebook. Work with the email team to ensure the correct content is sent out to customers

Regional

  • Coordinate and work closely with regional titles on a seasonal fashion shoot, working with magazine to sign off the locations, models, photographer and stylist Create trend-led outfits while taking ownership of flat lay shoots in the studio Keep in regular contact with the regional press ensuring we gain key coverage Organise media loans and image requests when required Monitor coverage for regional magazines Write press releases to support key campaigns throughout the year Work on budgets for press samples, monitoring and coding supplier and regional shoot invoices Recharge unwanted sample revenue to ensure money is regained into the department

 

Criteria About You:-

 

  • A keen interest in current fashion and lifestyle trends as well as an understanding of the media. This is a perfect graduate opportunity for an individual looking to take their first step into a career in Public Relations. You’ll need to be self-motivated with excellent communication skills as well as a strong eye for detail. Good word processing skills as you will be using, Buyers Range Plan and Mainframe. You’ll be a highly organised and professional person showing initiative while also having lots of passion and enthusiasm for the Next brand
