Our children's home in Frome are recruiting for experienced, vibrant role models to join their team as a Support Worker. Our home is a comfortable, warm environment that supports the needs of children between the ages of 8 - 18 who have complex needs which may include autistic spectrum disorder. Our focus is to support our young people to develop life skills and independence in a fun, nurturing and understanding way.

As a Support Worker, you will:

  • Support our young people with daily life which may include shopping, swimming, visiting restaurants and days out!
  • Encourage positive behaviours and caring for the well-being of our service users.
  • Support the wider team of staff within the home/school to ensure the young people reach their full potential.
  • Be required to work flexibly and to undertake shift work including early shifts, late shifts and weekends.

Do you have:

  • Previous experience with young people with challenging behaviour, particularly autistic spectrum disorder and associated difficulties?
  • Are you looking to progress with a company that invests in training and career development?
  • A clean driving license with at least 3 years driving experience?
