Square Peg Associate are working with a forward thinking, rapidly expanding E-Commerce business based in Bury who are looking for an Import and Export Coordinator.
The role offers flexible hours (either full time or part time) and home-working.
Import and Export Coordinator job duties:
* Processing orders on our database system
* Raising invoices
* Arranging shipments of our products to the end customer
* Ensuring export documentation is accurate and complete
* Liaising with customers to advise when their goods will be ready and arrange delivery as appropriate
* Good understanding of export practices and customs clearances, including sea freight and air freight.
Essential Skills or Experience:
* Previous experience in an export, office based position
* Previous experience working in a similar role whereby you are able to demonstrate knowledge of export, customs and shipping procedures (desirable)
* Knowledge of letters of credit (desirable though not essential)
* A good standard of written and spoken English
* MS Office skills including Word, Excel and Outlook
* Accurate data entry skills
* Attention to detail and the ability to organise and prioritise workload
* Excellent interpersonal skills
