Intensive Needs Support Worker
Pay rate: £12.43 per hour
Locations: Lincoln, Lincolnshire, LN6 0LT
Temp position for 3 months with the potential of going permanent
Hour's Part time: 28 per week, Support Worker at a young person's service aged 16-21.
Weekly shifts will be:
Week 1 8am - 4pm Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday
Week 2 8am -4pm Wednesday, Saturday, Sunday
Week 3 - 2.30pm - 10.30pm Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday
Week 4 2.30pm -10,30pm Wednesday, Saturday, Sunday
Must have an up to date Enhanced DBS check dated within the last 12 months.

What do we do?
We work to improve the lives of young people aged 16-21 years using our services by providing direct housing related support services, together with housing and property management to an individual or groups of young people in conjunction with the wider team and any appropriate external support agencies, with the aim of achieving a successful move-on and other measurable outcomes.
What is the role?
Working with young people and offering creative and innovative supported opportunities for them to improve their quality of life develop their skills and make decisions about their future.
Acting as individual 'Keyworker' to a group of identified young people, taking lead responsibility for the co- ordination and delivery of their support.
Drawing up and delivering support in accordance with a support plan drawn up during discussion between the young person and their Support Worker and / or Senior Support Worker.
Assisting colleagues in their work with young people and their families, helping to identify needs and to assist in working towards achieving positive outcomes.
Assisting colleagues to work in partnership with parents/carers assisting to empower them and to enable them to achieve better outcomes for their children.
Helping to run programmes of activity and group-work.
Under guidance, working co-operatively with children's services, health agencies and other community-based services, helping to provide the most effective service for young people and their families.What you will need?
You will have experience of working with vulnerable young people between the ages of 16-21 years old.
Experienced in working in partnership with external agencies such as social services, YOT, probation & housing benefit.
Have managed and experience of a large case load and offering support and guidance to young people relating to education, employment & training.
Experience supporting young people with life skills and to enable them to manage their tenancy or licence.
Can demonstrate an understanding of young people with complex needs and experienced in housing management - void inspections, H&S checks and rent management.Have you worked within a support environment and are now looking to progress and take the next exciting step in your career? Yes!
