Nest is the National Employment Savings Trust. It was set up by the government to give every worker in the UK somewhere to save for retirement and we’re now one of the largest schemes in the UK.

Your new role

Understanding our customers and their requirements is pivotal to our mission - helping millions enjoy a better retirement.

We outsource the delivery of services to our customers and in 2023, the current administration contract is coming to an end.

As the Senior Functional Design Analyst, you’ll be leading the work of a team of analysts on the new contract to ensure the business services are implemented according to our requirements. You’re clear and concise, making communication across both the supplier and Nest nice and easy and without ambiguity.

Not only that, you’ll provide your expert analysis and recommendations on issues related to Nest’s requirements based on your experience of outsourcing and working with suppliers.

This isn’t your everyday financial services job. We don’t have shareholders to please and our values drive what we do. We work with more than 800,000 employers and have over £12.7bn assets under management and we’re growing.

What you’ll need to succeed

A high level of experience in digital service design, and working with outsourcing providers in a financial services environment, particularly in pensions, is really what we are looking for.   Using agile design methodology and working in agile teams, is second nature to you.

Your enthusiasm and ability to ensure delivery is on time, of high quality and meets customer requirements is essential to ensure the successful long-term outlook. It’s a big responsibility but then this is a leading role.

We have a strong customer focus and a true social purpose with environmental social governance at the forefront of what we do. We want people to look forward to the future with optimism.

If you’d like to join us on our mission, take that step forward and apply.

What you’ll get in return

This a part-time, job share role. You will be working with a truly flexible employer who has fully embraced working from home culture during lockdown.

You will have a competitive salary and a fantastic benefits package.

You will have your birthday and Christmas Eve as an additional bonus to the already fantastic holiday allowance. and of course…a generous pension contribution.

What you need to do now

We are continuing to recruit, onboard and work remotely, so if this role sounds like a good fit and you are up to the challenge, click apply and upload your CV on to our careers website by the closing date: 12th October 2020.

Nest is an equal opportunity employer. We encourage applicants from all the nine protected characteristics.

Company

NEST is a great UK success story.

Established in 2010, NEST is a critical pillar of the Government’s automatic enrolment programme, with a public service obligation (PSO) to accept any employer wishing to use the scheme to discharge their automatic enrolment duties.   From a standing start, we have delivered a high quality, low cost pension scheme open to all, which has not only delivered on its mission, but has also helped to drive up standards and best practice across the industry. Now with over 6 million members and well over half a million participating employers, NEST is playing a critical role in helping people save for their retirement - many of them low to moderate earners who may be saving for the first time, and moving jobs frequently.   NEST now occupies an important place in the pensions market and will deliver high quality pensions to mass market consumers for many years to come, leveraging its scale to deliver value through the combination of low costs, market leading investment solutions and modernised services all overseen by strong Trustee governance.
