About the role:

This opportunity will be supporting a gentleman in his 40’s with complex needs, he will be supported throughout the day and night on a 2:1 basis. Our client is looking for a staff team who can help and encourage independence, while supporting the gentleman to flourish and grow. This particular client needs someone with a strong personality, he responds particularly well to men and really needs someone prepared to get him out and about, taking up physical activities and being more social.

This role will be incredibly rewarding; you will be able to make a huge difference to someone who is in great need of support. You will build a relationship with this individual and really be able to see him achieve his goals and aspirations.

Staff are at the heart of everything they do and as a member of the team you will go through a full induction process and work to a clear development plan with support and guidance provided, to achieve relevant qualifications. Additionally, appraisals and ongoing assessments will ensure outstanding learning and development opportunities.

About You

As a Support Worker no previous experience is necessary, however, acting as a role model promoting an active and health lifestyle, you will be a dedicated and empathic person who is able to not only provide physical care, but also offer emotional support to help people to reach their maximum independence in a safe and positive living environment. You will be able to demonstrate the right attitude and commitment to their ethos and show empathy and sensitivity to the needs of others.

You will have excellent communication skills and be able to work effectively as part of a team and be able to learn and undertake the essential training that is required for the role.

All posts are subject to an enhanced DBS check which will be paid for.

Whilst experience is not essential as full training will be provided we very much welcome previous experience working as Home Carer, Care Worker, Health Care Assistant, Support Worker, Nurses, Social Care Worker, Care Assistant, Mental Health Care Worker, Voluntary Worker.
