Take ownership of your Corporate Governance career and come and join our dynamic London team. This is an exciting role for a corporate governance professional to provide support to our Legal and Governance team. 

A visible and varied role, you will provide support to directors, business group heads and support divisions on all aspects of company secretarial practice, corporate governance, company law and internal policies. You will be the main contact for specific business group(s) and jurisdiction(s) and provide transactional and project support. In addition to running regular board/committee meeting processes for assigned entities, you will oversee the compliance of a portfolio of subsidiary companies.

You will be driven and self-motivated and will have strong company secretarial and corporate governance knowledge and experience gained in a similar, fast paced environment. You will have an appropriate qualification, (ideally a completed ICSA qualification), but above all will be able to demonstrate a passion for what you do. Fluency in other European languages is highly desirable.

Your integrity and pragmatic approach to problems will be your strength along with the ability to communicate with people at all levels within our business. You are a team player, can multi-task and have a successful track record in a relevant Corporate Governance related role. This role will be very dynamic and fast paced, so the need to be resilient and adaptable is crucial.

Legal and Governance consists of two divisions: Group Legal and Corporate Governance. Group Legal provides independent, strategic legal advice to Macquarie's businesses. Corporate Governance is responsible for a range of governance and administrative services for the Macquarie Group, including to the Group level Board and Macquarie's subsidiaries.
