Job description

DVSA Digital, Data & Technology 

The Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency is expanding their digital team. We work on high-profile digital products used by millions of people every year. To make an even greater impact, we need your skills to keep us at the forefront of technology.

Responsibilities

Roles Responsibilities include (but not limited to):

• Building and managing recruitment pipelines.
• Use available recruitment/staff data to build insights into Workforce planning.
• Take a lead role in DVSA Digital’s internal and external resourcing process.
• Working with wider DVSA media teams.
• Facilitate on the engagement between DVSA and 3rd party suppliers.
• Providing management support to Delivery Leads and helping to build relationships with wider DVSA functions.

About you 
You will also have experience in and be competent in the following areas:

• Experience in highly people focused roles such as Resourcing/Recruitment in a Digital or Portfolio environment.
• Experience working with data to create and communicate information using the most appropriate media.
• Experience making department level decisions to achieve business outcomes.
• Experience of presenting data and reports to senior managers, directors and stakeholders, encouraging debates and obtaining required approvals as required.
• Experience leading Programmes of Work to time, budget and quality.
• Experience of Matrix management and leadership of cross functional teams.

Interviews/assessments are likely to be held week commencing 16th March 2020.

Interviews will be held in Nottingham.

Further Information

We have adopted anonymised recruitment. This means that your name, date of birth and other personal details will not be seen by the sift panel.

We may hold a merit list for up to twelve months. During this time, if a similar role is identified and you have been placed on the merit list you may be considered for the post. Within the merit list period, your application form and selection information may be shared across the department and its agencies.

If successful and transferring from another Government Department a criminal record check may be carried out.

Applicants who are successful at interview will be, as part of pre-employment screening subject to a check on the Internal Fraud Database (IFD).
