We’re currently on the lookout for a commercial, talented and ambitious Promotions & Pricing Executive to join our team based in Houndsditch, London for WHSmith Travel. Reporting into the Pricing and Promotions Manager you’ll be responsible for supporting the Buying teams on promotions and pricing activity. 

What you’ll do:
Working closely with the Pricing and Promotions Manager you will support with key routine price and promotions updates across the WHSmith Travel Buying teams. You’ll support in the set up of products, price and promotions to ensure that all activity across the Buying categories have been actioned according to company policy.

You’ll ensure the compliance of government guidelines and legislation for product, promotions and pricing, as well as becoming an expert for vital business systems (superuser level) to provide training and support to new users within the business.

Who we’re looking for:
Ideally you’ll be from a Retail / FMCG background with previous Buying or Merchandising Administration experience with experience using retail administration systems or be a recent graduate with a relevant degree (2:1 or higher). What you must have is an interest in retail. You’ll be able to work at pace, independently and be confident in nature to be able to make fast and reasoned decisions.

Confident and engaging in your communication style you’ll be able to articulate and converse with stakeholders of varying seniority in the business. We’re looking for someone who has an entrepreneurial mindset and be looking for a role that has the scope to develop and make a real impact. If you’re commercial, analytical, calm and articulate, you could be the ideal fit.
