You'll be joining us here in Group Internal Audit as an Audit Manager - IT Applications.

What would you get involved with?

  • Deliver audits, focussing on Group IT Applications. Harness a deep understanding of IT applications, controls and risks to provide reliable and independent assurance on the efficiency of the control framework.
  • Provide audit and/or subject matter expertise, regarding IT application focussed audits of varying scale and scope, end to end. Plan and execute risk based audits as cooperated with internal partners so that the department audits what matters. Use the audit methodology to deliver audits within defined time, cost and quality parameters.
  • Support business management in understanding and accepting where action needs to be taken in order to protect the Group. In addition, work across the Group to evaluate how current and emerging technology risks can drive additional business risks.
  • Apply and foster the Group Audit methodology and standards and stay ahead of audit standard methodology and the changing regulatory environment. Develop, coach and motivate colleagues to build high performing teams that consistently demonstrate group values.

What skills and experience can you bring to the role?

You'll possess professional qualifications, such as CIA, CISA or CISSP or clearly evidence comparable IT audit skills acquired through relevant training and work experience. You'll demonstrate your experience in identifying and testing IT application and general controls. In addition, you'll understand IT application strategy for financial services organisations and be able to demonstrate your knowledge to identify areas for potential control improvement within Group IT.

You'll hold good influencing and motivating skills in a complex and diverse partner environment and have a proven track record of delivery, and meeting deadlines. Excellent analytical, presentational, verbal and non-verbal communication skills are critical.

And in return...

It is a very exciting time to join LBG. Together we'll continue our market leading, ground breaking transformation and you'll help us realise the Group's vision to become the Best Bank for Customers. Here, you'll grow as a person and develop your career.

As well as a competitive salary, you'll receive:

Flexible working is at the heart of our strategy. We’re re-imagining where, when, and how our people work, with new approaches designed to meet the ever-changing needs of customers and colleagues. These include increasing our use of remote-working tools and technology, as well as placing less reliance on a 9-to-5 mindset. For many of our office-based colleagues, we work in hybrid ways which involves spending at least two days per week or 40% of their time at one of our office sites.
