The Health and Safety Manager's role is to monitor, advise, support, enforce and report upon standards of health, safety and environment and compliance within statute and company requirements. Keeping up to date with current legislation and changes to group policy and procedures and ensure this is effectively communicated.

Working closely with project teams you will promote and encourage excellent standards and continuous improvement of health, safety and environmental management within our business and our varied live projects.

You will ensure that all staff maintain the required level of mandatory health, safety and environmental training and advise line management on other training needs as appropriate.

You will be joining a friendly and supportive team based in Farringdon.

This role would suit someone who is proactive, customer focused, approachable with a can do attitude.

As the specialist interiors arm of the Willmott Dixon Group we are currently involved in some major projects. These include some major refurbishment to listed and landmark buildings, hotels, universities, flagship stores and offices. We have a very strong pipeline of interesting work for the rest of 2019 and beyond nationwide.

Essential and Desirable Criteria

Academic:

Ideally we would like you to have the following qualifications or their equivalent:


Level 3 Qualification (NEBOSH / Construction certificate)
CSCS Card
Vocational / Industry Related:
FASET, Confined Spaces, Scaffold Inspection, Fire Marshal
Professional:
IOSH affiliated member
Other:
Valid Driving licence
