The role

We're seeking to recruit motivated Legal Executives and highly experienced paralegals to join our team in Bristol.  primarily supporting the work undertaken with colleagues in the Bristol and London offices.

The successful candidate will be working on a range of non-contentious landlord and tenant matters,   the negotiation of leases and code agreements as well as advising clients on issues regarding site sharing. You will have a high level of responsibility from the outset – all in a collaborative and sociable team environment.

There will be the potential to further your career aspirations in a supportive environment and secondment opportunities. Initially part of a specialist client team there could also be opportunities to work with a wide range of fee earners within Real Estate teams across all 3 offices. Typical wider team activities include:

  • Reviewing and reporting on Certificates of Title.
  • Producing Certificate of Title Questionnaires
  • Assisting investment, renewable and corporate teams in due diligence reporting
  • Acting for a broad spectrum of Real Estate clients in the sale of residential properties
  • Drafting leases and sale contracts.
  • Dealing with asset management to include leases, licenses, rent review memos and variations.
  • Reviewing and reporting on residential property acquisitions on behalf of major banks.
  • Summarising Occupational Leases.

Technical skills and experience

You'll be a part or fully qualified Legal Executive or highly experienced paralegal. Telecoms experience and the ability to take on supervisory responsibilities would be an advantage.

  • To be a self-starter, enthusiastic and resourceful. You'll be pro-active and motivated with excellent organisational skills; and an excellent team player.
  • To be flexible, pragmatic with a problem solving approach.

You will also be committed to working in the Bristol area with the ability to travel to the London Office to attend meetings as required.
