Contract Type: Permanent and Part-Time
Hours: 18.5 hours per week

SGS College has a highly successful Performing and Media Arts department at our Wise campus which receive a Grade 1 at our last Ofsted inspection. The department has a staff of 30 and 500 students on FE and Degree courses.
We are looking to appoint a dynamic teacher to join the Performing Arts team to teach and Course Lead HND Production Arts and also teach on UAL Level 3 Production Arts.
The Production Arts courses are responsible for the technical aspects of the over 30 performances a year in our 2 theatres which are equipped to professional standards and are managed by a Production Manager and 2 Technicians.
The successful applicant will be able to contribute to teaching design and technical skills in lighting, sound and set and will be able to manage a demanding course which requires a flexible approach to delivery both in subject matter and hours.
The department has excellent facilities including a 250 seat theatre, 80 seat studio theatre, tech theatre workshop, prop store, video editing suites, set stores,4 dance rooms 3 drama rooms and full technical facilities and support.
