The role
Knowledge Exchange at the Fashion Business School plays an important role in the London College of Fashion's commitment to developing entrepreneurship and enterprise across the breadth of the fashion sector. As the Knowledge Exchange Lead, you will take strategic and operational ownership for a range of inter-related Knowledge Exchange projects, events and networks across the Fashion Business School.
You will develop Knowledge Exchange activities and capacity as part of the interplay with industry, third sector, public engagement and community developments within the School, College, UAL and wider relevant communities across UK, EU and overseas. This will involve devising, developing and managing a range of initiatives with the related capture, monitoring, evaluation and management of Knowledge Exchange metrics and associated data, budget reporting, and dissemination activities.
Why choose us?
London College of Fashion is extremely proud to be a global leader in fashion education, research and consultancy. Much of its success is down to its dedicated employees, and you will play an important role in shaping future creative professionals, and impact on the future of so many creative industries.
London College of Fashion, UAL is undertaking an unprecedented programme of change. In 2022 we will be consolidating our existing six sites into a new purpose built campus as part of a new education and cultural district on the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park. Ahead of this move, we welcome applications from candidates who live in and around East London, as well as from those keen to join us on this exciting and unique opportunity in our College's history.
Your profile
The successful candidate will offer demonstrable fashion/creative industry knowledge and strategic project development experience, along with experience of working in industry, academia or public programming at a senior level and of leading Knowledge Exchange projects to generate cultural, social or economic impact.
In return, University of the Arts London offers generous leave, an attractive pension and a commitment to your continuing personal development and training in an environment that encourages excellence, creativity and diversity. Relocation assistance is available. If you have any queries about this role, you may contact the LCF Staffing Team at [email protected]
At UAL, everyone's identity matters. We are committed to creating a supportive and inclusive environment for all our diverse students, staff, and the creative and cultural sector partners with whom we engage. We aim to take every opportunity to progress equality and diversity, and celebrate the enrichment this brings to our community.
Candidates are advised to submit applications early.
