Job Details

We are currently recruiting for a part-time Senior Accountant to join our small but friendly team at our Head Office in Shoreditch.

Reporting into the CEO, the successful applicant will manage a part-time bookkeeper and will be responsible for:

  • Supporting the CEO in the decision making process
  • Closely monitoring cash flow and forecasting
  • Reviewing the Management Accounts and payroll

Monthly Tasks include

  • Monitoring cashflow and forecasting
  • Running monthly management reports
  • Reviewing monthly Management Accounts
  • Reviewing payroll, making salary payments and submitting monthly ONS returns
  • Making monthly invoice payments
  • Reviewing Accounts Payable
  • Reviewing Accounts Receivable

Annual & Adhoc Tasks

  • Supporting the CEO in the decision-making process
  • Budgets and forecasts

Required Skills

  • Advanced Excel Skills
  • Qualified Accountant (ACCA/CIMA or ACA)
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Previous experience in the retail sector
  • Proven organisational and prioritising skills
  • Sage 50 experience preferred but not essential
  • A 'can-do' attitude
  • A good communicator
  • Available immediately

Remuneration

  • The part-time role is for 1 day a week, which extends to 2 days a week once a month over month end
  • Flexible working is available
  • Hourly rate between £30-£35ph depending on experience
  • 25 days holiday (pro -rated)
  • Annual bag allowance
