Job Details

Tax Consultant at the Property Hub Are you an CTA/ACA/ACCA (or QBE) qualified tax consultant looking for an opportunity to use your tax knowledge & experience to contribute to the success of a fast-growing and exciting company? We’re looking for a self-motivated, positive and hard-working individual who is very personable but also has tremendous attention to detail and an eagerness to delight clients.

WHO YOU’LL BE WORKING FOR...

We provide free property education to thousands of property investors every year. Our podcast has over 200,000 monthly listeners and has cemented itself as the UK’s most popular business podcast. There are also over 35,000 active members within our online community.

We’re also publishers of a quarterly magazine, have written a number of best-selling books, and hold more than 35 free events across the country every single month.

As a result, we’ve created an audience of raving fans – who in turn have encouraged and enabled us to build a group of thriving businesses (spanning construction, sourcing, management, tax advice and finance) to serve them.

Our tax service is so high in demand that there’s a waiting list!

You will be joining a high achieving team of enthusiastic, ambitious, supportive professionals with big plans on the horizon! We pride ourselves on our outstanding processes, vibrant company culture, strong values and collaborative approach.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING?

Your goal is to provide a first-class service, delivering high quality tax advice on time and error-free. You will also be responsible for making clients aware of other services as appropriate.

Your main tasks will include:

  • Delivering online tax consultations lasting between 45-90 minutes to our client base of property investors and high-net-worth individuals.
  • Preparation of tax consultation reports and supporting calculations, with recommendations for implementation of advice.
  • Dealing with client queries over the telephone and via email, ensuring all client engagement is up to date.
  • Managing clients and delivering a great service.
  • Supervising the work of trainee staff, ensuring knowledge is up to date across the team.
  • Assisting with the delivery and preparation of various publications including tax webinar presentations and magazine articles.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR?

You will be a qualified tax advisor (ideally CTA/ACA/ACCA) with a proven track record in accountancy practice.

You’ll have solid tax advisory experience with a professional yet friendly disposition. Any experience related to property accountancy practices will be an advantage, but not necessary.

Your written and spoken English will be flawless and you’ll have the ability to communicate with clarity and warmth.

As a highly organised self-starter, you will have a can-do attitude, priding yourself on completing tasks on time and have strong client engagement skills too. You’ll be proactive and continually on the lookout for ways to improve working processes, and have high personal standards that are reflected in everything you do.

Being comfortable with new technology is part of the job and you’ll need to enjoy following processes to get the best results.

SOUND LIKE YOU?

If this sounds like your dream job and you meet all the requirements we’re looking for (and more), we want to hear from you.
