Founded in 2015 Walton Out Care is Recruitment and Health care agency company based in Derby. We supply a wide range of qualified care staff including domiciliary care workers to work in the community, to work in care home settings, to work in supported living services and work with people with learning and physical disabilities.

Focusing predominantly on working with local communities we have invested heavily in advertising we are reliable and offer quality services.

Walton Out Care is looking for a forward thinking Business Development Manager to join our team.

The opportunity is currently a part time role with hours to be agreed to suit both Walton Out Care and the candidate. As Walton Out Care grows the role may become a full time position with roles and responsibilities growing within the company.

The Role:

The successful candidate will contribute to the further success of Walton Out Care. Through developing a detailed understanding of Walton Out Cares core services, in order to support sourcing of potential clients and income. As Business Development Manager you will be responsible for generating new businesses for all of the services we currently offer.

Key Responsibilities:

· Identifying new business and developing it into a sales opportunity promoting Walton Out Care and its services via leads, and occasional visits.

· Updating Walton Out Care’s social media particularly Linked In adding connections, outreaching & producing blog posts

· Liaising with our web site developer and helping to organise more content

· Managing new business to ensure they receive a full, supportive sales service and identify growth areas.

· Liaising with New Customers, such as arranging to meet and discuss how the services we offer can help there settings and following ups.

· Developing and maintaining industry knowledge and presence.

· Engaging in relative networking events some which may occur before or after normal working hours to ensure Walton Out Care’s relationship is firm and meeting potential new clients.

· Maintain strong awareness of competitors and market intelligence

· Organising the design, implementation and distribution of marketing tools such as brochures, etc

Applicants should have some or all of the following:

· Previous experience in a similar role would be advantageous.

· Excellent organisation skills and ability to use own initiative

· Excellent communication skills both written and verbal

· A clear understanding of the sales process

· Experience in customer visits including formulating sales calls plans, gathering information and progress through the sales process.

· Great customer relation skills, comfortable dealing with a wide range of customers and people.

· Embraces change and is open to the ideas and opinions of others.

· Strong IT skills and be familiar with Marketing tools

· Experience of the Health care industries would be beneficial but not essential.

· Excels in working independently.

· Flexible and must be prepared to travel occasionally for networking

· Full clean driving licence.
