Full- Time 37.5 Hours Monday to Friday - Work From Home 4 Days Per Week

The Development Team Leader:

As Development Team Leader you will act as team lead for day-to-day tasks of the software developer and front-end developer, and liaise with the head of Software Development daily. Naturally you'll be able to work under pressure, make accurate estimates for work, and deliver to those schedules.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

+ Develop new user-facing features internally and externally.
+ Build reusable code and libraries for future use
+ Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
+ Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability
+ Ensure all user input is validated before submitting to back-end systems
+ Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders
+ Able to design responsive screen designs 
+ Able to design responsive user journeys
+ Work with the Web Software Developer to integrate the front end technologies with the back end server code
+ Work with C# ASP.Net/MVC/Core to create customised journeys based on client needs with a product approach in mind.
+ Design code with the forethought of re-usability
+ Managing Developers on a day to day basis
+ Point of contact for projects that are currently being worked on.

Development Team Leader Essential Required Skills:

+ Proficient understanding of web mark-up, including HTML5, CSS3
+ Proficient understanding of client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks, including jQuery
+ Good understanding of advanced JavaScript libraries and frameworks, such as AngularJS, BootStrap 3/4 or any that are embedded into CDSGlobal products
+ Good understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX(with JSON or XML)
+ Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them.
+ Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as SVN or GIT
+ Good understanding of SEO principles and ensuring that application will adhere to them
+ Understanding of OWASP guidelines, and how to implement them in the code written
+ Expert in ASP.Net/MVC C# and VB.net
+ Management of small teams
+ Effective communicator on all levels.

Desirable:

+ Use of tools such as BrowserStack to run tests over many browsers
+ .Core 2.0 and above
+ Familiar with Continuous Integration systems, Jenkins
+ Learn new concepts and diversify into new technical areas
+ PHP coding skills

Senior Full Stack Developer, Lead Developer, Development Lead.
