Administrator
Position: Disabled Facilities Grants Administrator
Location: Milton Park, Oxfordshire
Job type: Part Time, Permanent
Hours: 18.5 hours (2.5 days) per week
Salary: £21,725 per annum
Benefits: A basic 24 days annual leave per annum, rising to 29 days after five years. You also have all the bank holidays to look forward to and time off between Christmas and New Year. Flexible working and annualised hours – a flexible approach to work
About the role:
The councils’ Private Sector Housing team provides Disabled Facilities Grants (DFGs) to residents of South Oxfordshire and Vale of White Horse.
We are looking to increase and accelerate the delivery of DFGs and this role will help achieve our aim. Therefore, we are looking for a highly motivated, organised & enthusiastic individual to join the Team.
The DFG Administrator is responsible for the efficient processing of DFG applications. You will also provide administrative support for the Private Sector Housing team. The role is a job share covering 2.5 days a week.
About you:
The role will be varied, and you will be expected to have experience in overseeing budgets, working to deadlines with attention to detail. The post holder will require excellent communication and customer service skills and the ability to work independently and be proactive in developing both the role and the service.
Salary pay awards – most jobs give scope for a pay increase after six months or the following April (depending on your start date) and we also review salaries each April.
You may have experience of the following: Administrator, Customer Service, Centre Administrator, Admin Executive, Office Assistant, Administrative Assistant, Office Administrator, Team Administrator, Facilities Administrator etc.
