Acorn is on the lookout for an Administrator to join our local carrier company based in Kinmel Bay to work in our transport office.
We work with clients across a wide range of industry sectors - manufacturing, retail, automotive, pharmaceutical and transportation to name but a few. We have, over many years, provided premium delivery services throughout the region for many of the best known pallet & parcel delivery companies in the world.
Your responsibilities will be:
* Data inputting.
* Liaising with customers via telephone to take collections / customer query resolution.
* Specific contract responsibilities.
* Keeping up to date with the group transport e-mail
* Scanning PODs
* Updating and creating KPI reports
* General office administration answering the telephone, filing and photocopying etc.
* Liaison with warehouse staff, drivers and other departments and depots.
* Any other reasonable request made by management.
Qualifications / education required:
* Secondary You will need to be flexible, a team player, able to work to deadlines and on own initiative.
* Have excellent IT, planning, communication, organizational and problem-solving skills.
* Will be able to work under pressure in a busy transport office.
Desirable:
* Ideally you will have previous proven experience in a similar role within freight / logistics.
* Own transport due to location would be a distinct advantage.
This is a Part-Time role between the hours of 13:00-21:00. Immediate start if you are the right person
